Each report includes a risk score (FICO), credit summary, 24-month history, tradelines, collection accounts, and fraud search. The most robust and accurate eviction database in the nation is at your disposal. Each eviction report searches CIC’s proprietary database of 36+ million reportable records with no duplicates. CIC has a bilingual, fully FCRA certified customer care Department here in the United States standing by to assist you with any issues or questions that you may have. They can be reached by phone at 800.288.4757 option 1.

CIC provides 24/7 system monitoring, and U.S. based Technical Support is available by calling 800.288.4757 option 4.

Technically you do not have to switch, however your current provider will no longer support the Apartment Association of Greater Los Angeles. Additionally, CIC was selected to be the new tenant screening provider for AAGLA after a significant review process that determined both our quality and service to be superior to the previous provider.

There is a one time setup fee that covers the onsite physical inspection required of all businesses by Experian and TransUnion in order to have direct access to consumer credit reports 24/7. The cost for the inspection is $54 if you conduct it yourself, and $75 if CIC completes the process for you.

For portfolios with 5 units or fewer the association also provides ApplyConnect – a no cost, consumer-initiated tenant screening solution. Invite your applicants to share their Experian credit report and background check with you safely and securely. ApplyConnect reports include the same great quality data you expect from CIC, but require applicants to create an account and purchase a copy of their report for $28.50 that will be instantly shared with you for review after the payment is processed. You can expect your new account to be activated usually within 5 business days and in most cases, sooner than that.
